We at IRS welcome enquiries from other professions, often referred to as ‘miscellaneous’ or ‘emerging professions’, though a high number of these professions have been around for many years but have not traditionally bought professional indemnity insurance. Any of these professionals undertaking design work or providing advice or consultancy services are exposed to negligence claims during the course of their professional business.

We will consider providing specific additional extensions to this cover upon request, e.g. Fidelity and Libel & Slander.

We recommend that the limit of indemnity bought is discussed with a reputable insurance broker.
